Mortal Kombat XL hits this March, includes every bit of content

the latest Mortal Kombat from NetherRealm and WB Games is getting a be-all, end-all re-release that has every fighter, skin, move, and piece of DLC that’s been released (or will be released) for the game.

Well, if you haven’t yet played Mortal Kombat X, then the XL version is pretty clearly the one to get. With everything included (plus all 8 added fighters), there’s a ton to like for MK fans, even those who already have the game. Don’t forget that this version has everything, so if you’ve skipped the DLC, then this one is worth a look even if you do have the base game already.

And just to remind, here’s what’s in the box with Mortal Kombat XL:

  • Brand new playable characters the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror film series, Triborg and Bo’Rai Cho
  • Never released Apocalypse Skin Pack
  • Previously released content including playable Goro, Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack and Kold War Scorpion Skin
  • Playable characters Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya, with each accompanied by three themed skins
  • Samurai Skin Pack

Look for it to arrive for the PS4 and Xbox One (no PC or last-gen versions apparently) this March the 1st.
