Star Wars fans looking for a little board game action might want to check out the latest digital Monopoly game, out now.
It’s Star Wars Heroes vs Villains in Monopoly action
So this one kind of came out of left field for us. If you’re a Monopoly or a Star Wars follower though, who’s looking for something different, you might’ve found it with Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs Villains. And yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like.
Instead of collecting properties, this new game has fans collecting the Star Wars galaxy. Players will pick their teams of heroes or villains, and take to the virtual board to battle it out. It sounds odd at first blush, but it also seems like it might be a pretty fun time. And of course we mean especially if you’re getting a group together to play. It’s out now for both Switch and Switch 2.
Other than that, this week also brings Bandit Trap for the Switch 2. Another title that we’re not overly familiar with, Bandit Trap hails from PM Studios, and is all about field testing crook-catching equipment. Said action takes place in 1 on 3 multiplayer action, and in a colorful, cartoony world. It’s another game that might be a good time for groups with its asymmetrical play.
Finally, there’s the mighty roundup of additional releases, all of which are arriving for the Nintendo Switch console. And before you ask, no, none of those titles are specifically ‘Switch 2’ games. The drought continues in that way. And while we do understand it, considering the console’s install base, the trend continues to be a little worrisome.
