Featured in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, Activision’s remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is coming to the Switch 2.
Watery
Even for those fans who’ll be picking up Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on another platform, yesterday’s Nintendo Switch 2 trailer is worth checking out. That’s because Activision used the occasion to show off a new skater with Nora Vasconcellos, and more.
Along with a general look at the fresh action, and of course Vasconcellos’s reveal, fans got a glimpse of a new map. A mighty cruise ship will serve as home to plenty of skate possibilities while out at sea, but as you’ll see, you can also use it to head to a magical land where a pineapple can… serve as a house.
Tony Hawk and the gang are headed to Switch 2 in this legendary remake, built from the ground up with an incredible attention to detail and featuring iconic legends alongside new skaters, gnarlier tricks, an even sicker soundtrack, and for the first time in a decade – new parks!
Activision press release
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is so far confirmed as coming to Switch, current and last-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and the PC on July 11th. The release date seems a little more nebulous for the Switch 2 version, though Activision says to expect it to drop this summer.
