Just announced yesterday, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has a Bird’s Eye View for one of its new levels, Waterpark.
Getting soaked in the desert
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is, much like its predecessor, a remake of two classic Tony Hawk titles. Also much like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, there is some new content thrown into the mix too. That’ll include things like new, modern skaters and an updated soundtrack, but also totally new levels to skate.
Waterpark is one such level, bringing players to the Mojave Desert. While the sands are the locale, the park itself is just as dry. Yeah, it might’ve been filled with water at one point, but it’s all dried out and ready for some skating fun now. To that end, the level features traditional looking skate elements, plus a huge fountain area, a playground, and the former rides themselves.
While there’s no trailer for Waterpark, you can check out the “BIrd’s Eye View” preview on the official Tony Hawk Game blog. Click on over to take a peek.
Be that as it may, there is a new bit of footage for you to check out today as well, with the Digital Deluxe Edition trailer. The second you fire that one up, you’re going to hear some pretty familiar tunes, with the theme from DOOM. And yes, there’s a reason.
As you can see there, the Digital Deluxe Edition for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 includes both the Doom Slayer and a Revenant (complete with DOOT) as playable skaters. And don’t worry, the Revvy will be fine after the Slayer shoved him into that molten metal. We’re pretty sure anyway.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will also come complete with DOOM decks and gear, for those who’d like to deck their created skaters out game-related threads, and rounds out the package with the aforementioned musical accompaniment. Both the beefier version and standard edition will be both be out for consoles and PC, plus Game Pass, on July 11th.
