Another big name from the fighting game’s past is going to return for Tekken 8‘s Season 2, with Nina’s sister Anna Williams.

It honestly took longer than we expected, but Anna Williams is indeed now set to return in Tekken 8. The latest game in the long running fighting series, Tekken 8 released last year to pretty high praise from both fans and critics, bringing a deep roster of fighters and a continuation of the series’ classic story.
But even though there were dozens of characters at launch, that’s not the way it stayed. Thanks to the first Season of post-launch content, that was expanded, but Bandai Namco isn’t close to being done with the game yet. And here in 2025, fans are getting even more, as long as they buy into Season 2.
The new season of content opens up for Season 2 Character Pass holders on March 31st (April 3rd for everybody else) with a little Scarlet Lightning, AKA Anna Williams. She’s just a part of that new rolling series of DLC though, which will include a total of four characters and a pair of stages when all is said and done.
Anna Williams joins the fight as the first DLC character of the new season, expanding the game’s roster to 37 fighters. Known as the “Scarlet Lightning” for her breathtaking beauty and skills as a former assassin, Anna continues her journey for revenge against her sister Nina Williams in TEKKEN 8.
