Marvel vs Capcom is back, and is coming to comics (covers) this month

Game fans know that Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection lands digitally this month, but it’s heading to comics as well.

Go for broke

Announced this summer, Capcom is dropping a whole lot of classic fighting game action on fans over the next year(ish), and it all begins this month. September ’24 is when Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics arrives with a slate of seven titles from the fighting-happy 90s. At least, it’ll be landing for everything except Xbox One, which will be along in both physical and digital form some time in 2025.

But before we get to any of that, there’s a little announcement from Marvel Comics to talk about. Just released today, the publisher has a special variant cover slate en route to celebrate the new game. Now, these covers won’t be new art, but will feature the iconic work of artist Bengus, and his super heroic art.

Want to grab some of these bad boys for yourself? Scroll down to check out the full list of what’s coming, along with dates and which books will feature the variants.
