Marvel’s Ghost Riders to star in new variant cover collection

Marvel Comics has another variant cover slate coming up next month, this one featuring a spread of Ghost Riders.

Riding onto the cover of your fave book

Marvel’s supernatural hero Ghost Rider might not have the biggest spotlight in the publisher’s line of comics right now, but that’s about to come to an end. Announced a little while back, Ghost Riders past and present will be featured in a team-up book called Spirits of Vengeance. That title will open up next month in September, but there’s more Ghosty action than just the new book on tap.

Also ready to go for September, is a slate of eight Ghost Rider variant covers. Said images will hail from Marvel’s cadre of Stormbreakers talent, and will showcase the abilities of Elena Casagrande, Nic Klein, Jan Bazaldua, Chris Allen, Martin Coccolo, Lucas Werneck, Federico Vicentini, and C.F. Villa.

As for who’ll be included, it’s a healthy mix of Riders that will both be included in the new comic, and those who’ve come before. Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, Robbie Reyes, Kushala, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Phantom Rider, Vengeance, and the Ghost Rider of 1,000,000 BC will all feature.
