Fight fans take note of Undisputed, the first pro boxing title in a while is stacking its roster with the latest addition of Shawn Porter.
When was the last time there was a good boxing game anyway?
A while, we believe, is the answer to that subheading. We haven’t seen a boxing game really worth getting excited about in years, and according to PLAION, it’s been over decade. The publisher cites Undisputed as “the first major boxing game in over a decade” and we’re not going to doubt that. So if there’s a decent amount of excitement for developer Steel City Interactive’s game, it’s warranted.
The title is set to have a pretty deep and loaded roster too with the likes of Roy Jones Jr, Riddick Bowe, Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Julio Cesar Chavez, Larry Holmes, and Sugar Ray Leonard all onboard. Referee Kenny Bayless is included as well, plus more unnamed stars.
We got one more of those ‘names’ this past weekend though, via the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame 2024, who welcomed in two time welterweight champion Shawn Porter.
This past weekend, two-time welterweight world champion Shawn Porter was inducted into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame 2024. Porter competed from 2009 to 2021 and was known for his aggressive fighting style and high work rate, earning him a spot in the Boxing Hall of Fame, two welterweight championships, and a spot in Undisputed, the first major boxing game in over a decade.
