With its digital launch coming up next month, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster arrives just a few months later in physical form.
Shop til you drop, in a real store
Sure, we get it, digital is a big hit in terms of game-delivery. And it has become the favored way to get their games for many fans. But even so, not everybody likes the idea that the game they bought could be delisted someday, causing them to lose access. If you’re looking forward to Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and you’re in the ‘physical’ camp (we are), then we’ve got some good news for you.
While the physical version of the upcoming undead remake was announced a while ago, we didn’t have a date for its arrival until today. Capcom has taken the wraps off of that, announcing that boxed-copies will arrive in stores on November 8th, 2024.
We’re a little bummed that it’s going to take almost two months to get that physical edition, but at least we’ll be mowing down the hordes before Thanksgiving.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a remake of the original 2006 Dead Rising game, and features Capcom’s impressive RE Engine. That will deliver 4K visuals to players, along with 60fps, new photo filters for your best zombie-shots, new characters, and a host of quality of life improvements.
As mentioned, while the physical version lands on November 8th, that digital version will land well in advance for those who just can’t wait. Fans can look for the digital version on September 19th, and it will come in two forms. Capcom will be dropping both a base and Digital Deluxe Edition. The latter will include the game, plus “17 wacky Frank West costumes and 17 BGM tracks that can be played throughout the shopping mall”, according to the publisher.
