SDCC ’24: MGM+ debuted the first look at season three of horror series From

One of the most talked about horror series’ on streaming platforms, From made its first visit to SDCC this week with a season 3 trailer.

To?

Those looking for a good scare at Comic Con this past week got it in the form of horror series From. The streaming show made its inaugural trip to the SDCC by way of the IMDBoat, to debut a whole mess of news. Included were stars Harold Perrineau, Elizabeth Saunders, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, and David Alpay, who were joined by Executive Producers Jeff Pinkner and John Griffin.

Announcements included some new cast members, with actors Robert Joy (CSI: NY) and Samantha Brown (Y: The Last Man) coming on board. Joy will be added to the cast as Henry, “a curmudgeon to whom the years have not been kind”, while Brown will play Acosta, “a new-to-the-force police officer who is in over her head”. On top of that though, fans also got their first terrifying look at Season three of the show.

That trailer looked to add some new wrinkles to the show’s story too, including a possible way out of the town that holds From’s collection of characters prisoner.

FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest — including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. In the wake of Season 2’s epic cliffhanger, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the townspeople go on offense against the myriad horrors surrounding them.

MGM+ press release

Ready to head back into the town from hell? Season three of From is set to debut on MGM+ this September 22nd.
