Racing blasts back into the Star Wars universe later this year, when Secret Mode and Fuse Games debut Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
Now this is Racing. Galactic Racing
Yes, this newly announced Star Wars title is a racer, but it’s not centered on Episode One’s famed pod racing scene. Instead, Secret Mode and developer Fuse Games’ Star Wars: Galactic Racer features a much wider set of tracks.
The game focuses on an unsanctioned racing circuit that traces its way across the galaxy’s Outer Rim. It’s there that players will take on the role of Shade. Yes, there’s a decided character to play as, as it’s not all racing in this one. Instead, this one has a story for fans to dig into. From the sounds of it too, it’s got some pretty unique themes for a Star Wars title.
For one thing, players will have to play dirty to win. According to the press release, that includes having to “shunt, slam, and takedown their rivals”. Even more interesting, the Force is a non-factor. Instead, this race will be all about skill and speed.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer invites race fans to join the Galactic League, an unsanctioned racing circuit born in the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy. Step into the cockpit as mysterious pilot Shade in a thrilling singleplayer campaign where alliances will be forged, rivalries reignited, and old grudges will be settled. Experiment with your build strategies across three distinct styles of repulsorcraft to create your ultimate vehicle. Get behind the controls of podracers and put your skills to the test in this iconic vehicle class. Take your talents online in exciting multiplayer races to prove yourself as an elite racing pilot. No Force. No prophecy. Just skill, strategy, and the will to rise.

Get ready to start your engines, as Star Wars: Galactic Racer hits the track on October 6th, 2026. Look for it on the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC (via Epic and Steam).
Standard, deluxe, and of course a CE
As you can see above, pre-orders for Star Wars: Galactic Racer are open right now. And as such, there’s a bonus or two for those who secure their copy early. Those star off with “a free bonus livery which can be used with your landspeeders, speeder bikes, or skim speeders”. And there with the livery, is a “Player Banner background for use in multiplayer modes.” Kind of cool for those who like to mix up their cosmetics.
Just which of the liveries you get though, will depend on which platform you pre-order for. So that’s something to keep in mind, for those who have access to multiple consoles and/or a PC. And speaking of multiples, there’ll be a few ways to get onto Star Wars: Galactic Racer‘s courses.
Naturally, there’ll be the standard version. But past that, there’s also the digital deluxe edition. The latter ups the price tag by $20 USD, but packs in what look to be a pretty big lot of extras.

The Deluxe Edition of Star Wars: Galactic Racer comes with three bonus vehicles – the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, Kor Sarun: Ciza T speeder bike, and Kor Sarun: Rak S skim speeder – alongside three deluxe Arcade events designed to test your skills with these powerful repulsorcraft, as well as the Deluxe Livery Pack with unique designs for all of your vehicles. In addition, pilots will have access to the Deluxe Player Banner Pack, with a new Insignia and Background for you to show your style in multiplayer modes, and a Digital Art Book containing never-before-seen artwork of the characters, locations, and vehicles of Star Wars: Galactic Racer. The Deluxe Edition is available at an SRP of $79.99/£64.99/€79.99. A Deluxe Edition Upgrade will be made available at launch.

And finally, rounding things out, is the full blown Collector’s Edition. Available for all platforms, Star Wars: Galactic Racer‘s Collector’s Edition clocks in at a hefty $159.99 USD. But with that tag, come what look to be a host of physical collectibles and bonuses. And yes, those are on top of a Deluxe Edition upgrade.
Here’s what the full deal looks like:

For the most dedicated pilots, a physical Collector’s Edition is available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This edition comes with a physical model of the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, along with a physical banner celebrating Galactic League champion Kestar Bool, two pilot patches, a physical copy of the Digital Art Book, and a custom slip cover and steel case for the game, all inside premium Collector’s Edition packaging. The Collector’s Edition will additionally come with a Deluxe Edition Upgrade, including all the digital items from the Deluxe Edition in-game. The Collector’s Edition is available at an SRP of $159.99/£139.99/€159.99.
