The next reboot joining the Necelleverse universe will be the legendary Sectaurs, with a mini-series set to debut this October.

Even if you were a kid in the 80s, you may or may not be all that familiar with Sectaurs. A line of action figures and vehicles (that were actually puppets), Sectaurs debuted in 1985 from the classic toy and game company Coleco.
As fans ourselves, we can tell you that the toys were probably the best thing to come out of the property. Yes, there was a short-lived cartoon show, and a comic book too, but the big, imaginative action figures were something else. They weren’t alone either, as those figures were supported by the aforementioned puppet-like vehicles plus a playset that’s still mentioned as among the very best of all time. Now, they’re coming back. Technically ‘already’ back, as the first wave of action figures is out now (see our review here), Sectaurs will really make a splash with its first comic book series since the originals.
The title will be a part of the Nacellverse shared-universe from IP owner The Nacelle Company, and be published by Oni Press. If that name sounds familiar mentioned with Nacelle, it’s probably because the company already is all-in on mini-series’ featuring other Nacelle properties like RoboForce and Biker Mice from Mars.
Debuting in October of 2024, the mini will run for three issues and star the talents of writer Dennis Culver (Unstoppable Doom Patrol, Justice League Incarnate) and artist Ramon Bachs, who you might know from Star Wars: Bounty Hunters.
