Two of Fallout’s biggest installments added to Amazon’s Luna platform

Joining Fallout 76 on Prime Gaming, Luna is adding maybe the two biggest fan-favorite titles from the storied series’ history.

Say that three times fast

When you talk about the most legendary properties in the industry, Fallout has to be right there with the biggest. Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic series has been an almost universally popular one, whether you’re talking about the original turn-based, isometric RPGs, or the first-person aRPG that it is now. Every Fallout release has been a smash hit with fans, almost without fail (almost).

Now with the TV show arriving on Prime Video, Fallout is seemingly bigger than ever. This month Prime Gaming has been celebrating that release too, with a free copy of Fallout 76 for the PC and, for the first time under the Prime Gaming banner, for the Xbox Series X|S. But if that’s not enough action for you, we’ve got some good news.

While they’re not being posted to Prime Gaming, both Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Fallout: New Vegas are heading to Luna. Both games are some of the most highly-rated and fan-acclaimed of the entire set, and you’ll be able to play all you want of either thanks to the platform’s steaming capabilities. Don’t worry about not being able to finish them in Luna’s usual one month time limit either, as these two massive titles will instead get six month runs with the cloud-based steaming service.

For those who don’t know, Luna is included with Prime Gaming (or separately, depending on your territory), and serves up a monthly rotation of all-you-can-play titles. Games offered in conjunction with the service aren’t locked to a specific platform either, and are playable via anything that supports Luna. That includes “Fire TV, Fire Tablets, iOS and Android devices, Samsung and LG smart TVs, and PC, Mac and Chromebook via web browser”, according to Amazon. So could you set your iPad up on the kitchen table and rock some New Vegas? Yeah, pretty much. And again, you can do that for six months, which should be plenty of time to complete both wasteland adventures.

Both Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Fallout: New Vegas are up right now and ready to play.
