First-person shooter Atomic Heart is about to get its second big DLC drop, that’ll see fans get Trapped in Limbo this February.

Launched earlier this year, the long awaited first-person shooter that is Atomic Heart was warmly greeted by critics and fans. Since launch, it’s already seen the arrival of some downloadable-content, but that train isn’t done rolling just yet, because there’s even more on the horizon.
From the sound of it too, this is going to be a biggie. If you’ve completed the campaign, then you’ll want to take a look at Trapped in Limbo, as it picks up right from those last moments of the core experience, sending players into a brand new ending.
Also, if you thought Atomic Heart was crazy before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Atomic Heart‘s “Trapped in Limbo” DLC picks the story up immediately after the end of the main game, this time continuing a different ending from the one that the “Annihilation Instinct” DLC followed. It introduces new sections of the twisted Limbo world bursting with fan-favorite challenges, but this time with a unique Limbo flavor! While diving into this wild new gameplay, players will be tasked with helping P-3 break through a series of dizzying obstacles, uncover the secrets of his past and the world of Limbo, and demolish unique-looking opponents with marvelous weapons in a combat extravaganza. In order to rise from the depths of Limbo to the top and free P-3’s mind from his demons, players will have to do everything they can to overcome the changed rules of the game. The “Trapped in Limbo” DLC holds the key to finding out the fate of Major P-3, and it is up to players to survive in this enigmatic world with inverted logic.
As they fight, run, jump and slide across the platforms, players will be collecting apples to unlock skills and weapons, as well as gold coins to unlock up to seven unique skins that can be equipped in the main campaign!

Atomic Heart’s Trapped in Limbo DLC pack will land on February 6th, 2024. Of course you’ll need the core game to play, which you can grab now via Xbox and PlayStation platforms, or the PC. Atomic Heart is also on sale pretty much across the board, so if you were thinking about diving in, now might be a good time.
