Nintendo Download: Dark Heroes

It’s a Batman kind of week on the Switch, as the Arkham Trilogy arrives along with Dragon Quest Monsters, and more.

The Dark Knight rises

One of the greatest superhero game series’ of all time, Warner Bros and Rocksteady’s “Arkham” games are finally available on Switch. To a degree. While the base trilogy is now packaged into one convenient bundle, the oft-forgotten (and some would say ‘excellent’) Arkham Origins is left out in the cold.

Nevertheless, there are some great Batman games out this week for the Switch, and tremendous additions to the Switch’s library. But of course those games aren’t the only ones arriving, as Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince brings that classic series back around, and Skater XL serves up a port of what’s been a pretty well-received skateboarding title.

Want more? Well good, because there’s the usual assortment of smaller releases on tap as well. And although few of them seem all that remarkable, you might find something that scratches that itch.
