Indy heading back to collectors, with Hot Toys’ new Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny figure

Indiana Jones took one last ride this past summer, and you’ll be able to add his “Dial of Destiny” look to your shelf next year

Dialing it back

If you’re like… well if you’re like seemingly most fans, you might’ve missed Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in theaters this past summer. The film wasn’t exactly a barn-burner, and failed to catch on with audiences during its theatrical run. An “Indiana Jones” movie somehow actually turning in a loss for Disney at the box office is a strange thing to say, but it looks like that’s just what happened.

Nevertheless, that’s not going to stop Hot Toys from adapting its title hero to collector-figure form. And as far as having an older Indiana Jones on your shelf, it doesn’t look like you could do any better than what the company has on tap.

Starring a pretty incredible sculpt, and Hot Toys’ usually terrific articulation and detailing, Indy will come packed with his trademark whip, bag, and an assortment of additional accessories. There’s also set to be a deluxe edition that’s packed with one of the coolest display bases you’re probably going to find. It’s part of a collapsed suspension bridge, and is perfectly “Indy”.

The Indiana Jones 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a detailed, hand-painted headsculpt with a stunning likeness of Harrison Ford in the iconic role. The figure utilizes Hot Toys’ unique rolling eyeball function, which allows collectors to adjust the gaze for added realism and also features a new, specially designed body with 30 points of articulation for a range of dynamic poses. Indiana Jones comes with his signature fedora hat and is dressed in an exquisitely tailored outfit, featuring a genuine leather jacket, boots, and whip. Accessories include a light-up LED flashlight, a compass, a backpack, a crossbody bag, a climbing rope, and tools.

But that’s not all! The Deluxe Version includes a fallen suspension bridge base which can be displayed in two different ways, and features real rope details.
