Nintendo Download: An Electrifying Enigma

A pretty big week for Switch fans brings Detective Pikachu back around, along with Front Mission, Borderlands 3 and more.

That’d be a really different headline without the “g”

The Switch has been on a bit of a roll lately, with a bunch of great stuff hitting Nintendo’s home-and-away console. This week will see that trend continue with not just the headlining title, but a bevy of large and smaller scale launches. Chief among those though, is Detective Pikachu Returns.

If you liked the original game in the set, or dug the movie, chances are you’ll find plenty to enjoy here too. More or less, main human character Tim teams with a “tough-talking”, coffee sluggin’ Pikachu to solve crimes in Ryme City. Even non-franchise fans might wanna check that out.

Along with that, Borderlands 3 finally makes the leap to Switch with the Ultimate Edition, which is loaded with all the content expansions and cosmetics from the game’s original run. Plus if you’re a fan of the series, it’s just kind of awesome to have a portable version.

Want more? Well Wargroove 2 brings its turn-based action to life once again, and Front Mission 2 arrives with some tactical role-playing. Those games are joined by The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, and a ton of indie stuff.
