Nintendo Download: Lost in Communication

Rune Factory Special 3 and the Tower of Babel-inspired Chants of Sennaar join Trine 5 this week on the Nintendo Download.

Stairway to Heaven

While this week doesn’t include a blockbuster title on any level, there are some interesting launches regardless. The biggest name of the group is probably Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, which brings the fantasy series back for maybe its biggest installment yet.

Past that though, there’s also Rune Factory Special 3. A “relaxing” fantasy adventure, Rune Factory Special 3 seems to focus as much on family life and tending the farm as it does on combat with cartoony beasts. If you’re looking for an RPGish new play, it might be worth your time to check out.

This week also delivers Chants of Sennaar, based on the Biblical tale of Babel. In it, “the Peoples of the Tower” no longer are able to speak to each other, and await the arrival of a Traveler to restore former balance. Language serves as “the lock and the key”, as players will discover both “ominous truth and unveil the mysteries of this universe”.

Of course, past those three titles there’s also a full selection of smaller releases, as always. Scroll down to check ’em out.
