Episode 2 of Telltale’s The Expanse leaves the station

Continuing the story of Telltale’s new sci-fi adventure game based on the “The Expanse” TV show, episode 2 is now live.

Hunting Grounds

Did you enjoy the lead-in for Telltale’s The Expanse? Based on the TV show of the same name, the adventure game company and developer Deck Nine Games made a splash with the license last month, with episode one of the inaugural season. Fast-forward a bit though, and here comes Hunting Grounds.

As episode 2 opens, main character Camina Drummer and the crew of The Artemis find themselves face to face with some dangerous pirates.

A routine scavenging mission in The Belt has turned into a deadly standoff with relentless pirates. Camina Drummer (played by Cara Gee), as the new captain, faces her first test: outnumbered and outgunned, the crew of The Artemis must formulate an escape plan and gather the supplies they desperately need to get away.

Telltale press release

With two episodes out right now, The Expanse: A Telltale Series is still available a few ways. Basically the difference between the standard and Deluxe Edition comes down to a bonus episode, as both versions contain the full season 1 of the series. That bonus is Archangel, an extra episode of play, that stars Chrisjen Avasarala, Secretary-General of the United Nations on the show. And yes, she’s played by actress Shohreh Aghdashloo.

If you’ve yet to take the plunge into The Expanse though, why not check out our review of the opener? You can find that here.
