It’s Eddie v Doctor Doom in September’s Venom #25

How’s this for a one on one matchup; complete with his new symbiote, Eddie Brock is getting ready to battle none other than Doctor Doom.

Would you put Venom in the same class as Victor von Doom? You might not, though at this point in the Marvel Universe timeline, it’s debatable. Eddie has taken on gods after all, so he’s likely worthy of a match against the Latverian monarch.

That’s exactly what’s inbound for this fall too, as he brings his new symbiote along for a battle with Doom. The goal? Doom’s time platform, and a chance to turn the tide against his foe, Meridius. The fight will take place in what’ll be a jumbo 25th issue of Venom, with art from Sergio Dávila, Cafu, Ken Lashley, and Julius Ohta, and a story from one of the biggest fan-favorite writers in the Marvel stable right now, Al Ewing.

Eddie Brock needs access to Doctor Doom’s time platform but in doing so, got more than he ever bargained for, battling the most notorious super villain in the Marvel Universe through time itself! Luckily, Eddie’s well versed in navigating the timestream thanks to his recent adventures. He’s poised to take his conflict with Meridius to its frenetic and fist-filled finish – if he survives DOOM! PLUS! Eddie’s battle with Doom will land him, briefly, in a very unexpected place…MIDTOWN HIGH SCHOOL! But what, or who, could he find there?
