Here’s an early look at the Dead by Daylight prequel comic

Every villain needs an origin, and Titan Comics’ new Dead by Daylight series is planning just that. Witness the birth of The Legion.

Dead by Daw- Daylight

We first told you about the Dead by Daylight prequel a while back, but now publisher Titan is back with something a little more meaty for fans to bite into. It comes by way of a video trailer that should give DbD fans a nice taste of what’s on the way, with the origin of The Legion.

While the game itself has no shortage of guest stars, the comic will focus on its original group of killers.

When the rebellious FRANK crashes into the lives of JULIE, JOEY and SUSIE, together they’ll unleash bloody chaos onto the sleepy, dead-end town of Ormond. Witness the terrifying origins of THE LEGION.

COVER A BY IVAN TAO

As you can see, this is no superhero tale. Actually, it’s not a typical supervillain story either, as writer Nadia Shammas and artist Dillon Snook are taking readers on a trip through some good old fashioned (and gore-soaked) slasher-horror.

As a nice little bonus too, every issue will come with a download code, which will be used to unlock in-game charms. The first issue, which has covers from Jae Lee, Ivan Tao, and more, will sport one showcasing the book’s ‘A’ cover (seen to the right) for use in The Fog.

Dead by Daylight is set to be a 4 issue mini-series, and will kick off on May 24th. It should be up for pre-order now by way of your local comics shop, in the US and UK.
