Quantumania’s Kang is coming to conquer Hot Toys’ Marvel line

Quantumania might not have been the hit that other MCU films have been, but it did have a wicked take on the franchise’s next big-baddie, Kang.

Conquering your collection

Did you like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? If you didn’t, well you’re excused, as the film didn’t have the impact that other Marvel movies have. Then again, that’s seemingly becoming a theme, so maybe it’s not even worth mentioning anymore. It’s also besides the point, since the movie did have one very bright spot, with actor Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror.

The ruler of the Quantum Realm, Kang was a force in this particular movie’s storyline, but will loom much larger in the overall MCU in the years to come. And as he’s set to take the bad-guy crown from Thanos for this Phase, he’s gotta have some collectibles, right?

Enter Hot Toys, and one freaking great looking Movie Masterpiece.

Kang The Conqueror, a fearsome warlord with a mysterious past, has succeeded in seizing the Quantum Realm, and now rules over all citizens with a brutal hand. Super hero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne team up once again as Ant-Man and The Wasp to face off against Kang, whose plan to shatter timelines and rewrite existence must be stopped at any cost!

Sideshow Toys press release

As you can see in the images above, Kang will feature not only masked and unmasked head-sculpts, but also Hot Toys’ rolling eyeball feature on the latter. That should give fans a whole bunch of possible poses out of just one sculpt. Oh, and it’s worth noting too that the masked head will have light-up features, by way of LED eyes and more.

Set to ship some time in quarter 3 of 2024, Kang is still a ways off, but you can pre-order him right now. Click here to check him out at Hot Toys’ retaining partner Sideshow.
