Trailer: Tactical RPG The Last Spell weaves its magic on consoles and PC today

Already something of a hit with 250 thousand Early Access copies sold on the PC, The Last Spell has made its way to full retail release.

s seen in the fantastically stylized animation and action-packed gameplay from today’s launch trailer, The Last Spell‘s grand battles find humanity’s final Haven surrounded by a relentless evil advancing from all sides. In order to protect the Magic Circle at all costs, players must expertly guide teams of warriors and the Haven’s development against seemingly insurmountable odds and unpredictable attacks, intuitively adapting their strategy as monstrous hordes tear at defensive fortifications to raze the Haven’s supportive inner structures and extinguish the last flicker of humankind.

Featuring turn-based combat and a ‘defensive’ leaning, where players must hold out against the enemies of humanity, Ishtar Games’ The Last Spell is already a solid hit. With 250 thousand copies sold through via Steam’s Early Access program, the roguelite title already has its audience.

Today’s wide retail release for consoles should boost that a bit, as the great looking strategy title is now on the PlayStation family, as well as the Switch and PC.
