It’s once again time for some seasonal good tidings in the world of Destiny 2. The free “The Dawning” event is live now for all versions of the game.
Deck the halls
Today, the free in-game Dawning event returns to Destiny 2 to bring cheer and good tidings to all Guardians (official Dawning page will be live at 9AM PT). Eva Levante is back in the Tower to help players bake delicious cookies using highly questionable ingredients. Through January 2, players can take part in the Dawning cheer and gift their tasty (?) treats to their favorite characters around the system.

Aside from baked goods, there’s actually a lot of new content to enjoy included in this event. Players will find a new Event Card, where they can compete for prizes like “an emblem, a shader, and an Exotic Ghost”. Speaking of, there’s also an “Exotic Ghost” as well as “an Exotic Sparrow, a new emote, and more” available for those who upgrade their cards with Silver. And you can also grab the Seal and title of “Star Baker”, if you complete all the challenges.
On top of that, there’s also a collection of new cosmetics, plus some hardware in the form of a Legendary Pulse Rifle and “Stay Frosty PR7”. All together, the Season of the Seraph will run through the next big expansion for Destiny 2 arrives with Lightfall, on February 28th, 2023.
