Hot Toys gets ready to ship another great-looking Star Wars vehicle with the Swoop

Is Hot Toys’ new Swoop Bike its coolest Star Wars vehicle yet? It takes a lot to beat that STAP, but it just might be. Check out the Sideshow unboxing.

Swooping in

As Star Wars vehicles go, the Swoop might not be the most recognizable. After all, the aforementioned STAP featured pretty well in the prequel trilogy, and I don’t think I have to say much about the Speeder Bikes. They’re iconic at this point.

Still, Swoop Bikes have been in a number of Star Wars shows and movies. They first (?) showed up in Shadows of the Empire, and most recently appeared in Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian. So if they’re not as well known as a Speeder, they’re probably getting there. And even if you’re not all that familiar with one, it’s tough not to love what Hot Toys has done with the design.

The latest vehicle from the collector-toy-maker, the Swoop is looking fantastic cast in worn-silver metallic colors. While it doesn’t include Dinn, it certainly looks good with Hot Toys’ rendition of The Mandalorian riding atop.

And as you’ll see in the video below, it does have one figure included, in the form of a little stowaway.

The Swoop Bike 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys is a highly accurate replica of the vehicle as seen in The Mandalorian™ live-action series. A perfect complement to The Mandalorian 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, the meticulously detailed Swoop Bike features articulated grip, foot pedals, and steering vanes as well as cargo pouches.

The Swoop Bike 1/6 Scale Figure also comes with an important passenger – Grogu™! The Child figure features a new hand-painted headsculpt with windswept ears. He fits into the cargo bag, so he can comfortably enjoy a swoop bike adventure.

Sideshow Toys press release

As usual with these unboxing videos, the Swoop Bike is just about to ship. It’s slotted for some time either this month or in December. Also as usual, it’s still up for pre-order, if you’d like to lock one up for yourself.

The Swoop Bike is priced in at $285 USD, and can be found here.
