Sideshow’s Spooktacular rises from its grave

Wanna save on some spooky collectibles? How ’bout entering some creepy contests? Maybe grab some ghoulish giveaways? That’s Spooktacular.

Blah!

Legend has it, that every October a Spooktacular set of events rises from the crypts deep within Sideshow Toys’ accursed castle. Actually forget that, ’cause it’s not a legend at all, but Sideshow’s yearly celebration of the ghastly. And now that Spooktacular is about to open up once more, fans can really dig into a ton of cool happenings.

First, if you’re yet to register, head here and sign up for the event. Yes, you’ll have to agree to getting some emails, but you’ll also get $10 to spend added to your account. And on top of that, you’ll also be registered for Sideshow’s series of event-specific giveaways. Those will be rolling all show long, so you’re definitely going to get in on them.

While Spooktacular officially opened yesterday (the 24th), there will be a singular event that it’ll be leading up to. That will be the Spooktacular Showcase, and if you guess that it will be fulled with reveals, you’d be right.

This special video presentation will focus on “Hot ToysSideshowPremium Collectibles Studio, and more”, and air on YouTube. Look for it at 10pm pacific time, on the 27th.

And finally, Sideshow is getting into video games. Sort of. A mobile title, Phoney Phantoms is available right now for iDevices, and will be coming soon to Google Play. The game will offer up actual rewards that you can spend at Sideshow too, so even if you’re not usually a mobile fan, you might wanna check it out.
