GOG celebrates a weekend of terror with Scorn and some scary deals

Along with the launch of Scorn, there’s a fear-filled weekend sale that’s just arrived over at GOG, including some big discounts on some big games.

Just in time for Halloween

If you’re looking for a good scare this Halloween, online PC gaming retailer GOG has you covered. And the best part is that you can dig into a bunch of the storefront’s scare-filled offerings for cheap, thanks to the Gore Weekend Sale.

Before we get to that though, GOG is mainly celebrating something with this sale, and that’s the release of the long-awaited Scorn. If you’re not familiar, and I don’t see how you couldn’t be, Scorn is an extremely disturbing adventure into a biomechanical… world? Nether realm? Wherever it is that you find yourself in the game, it’s 100% a creep-fest.

Scorn is out now for the Xbox, as well as the PC, and of course it’s featured on GOG. The game is the headliner for what’s a sale weekend filled with chills and freak-outs.

Dubbed the Gore Filled Weekend, GOG is loaded up on games like Dying Light: Definitive Edition (75% discount), Chernobylite (30%), F.E.A.R. Platinum (85%), and Metro: Exodus – Gold Edition (70%). That’s just a small taste of what’s available though, so if you’re looking to play some creepy PC games this October, definitely check it out.

The sale kicks off today, and runs through October 17th and 10pm UTC (which is 6pm eastern).
