Shipping this fall, get a first look at Hot Toys’ Cable from Deadpool 2

A mercenary from the far-future, longtime X-Force hero Cable made his big screen debut in Deadpool 2. Now he can debut in your collection.

Bodyslide by one

Straight from the silver screen, and Deadpool 2, comes the shadowy man from the future himself, Cable. Played by Josh Brolin, Cable differed quite a bit from his comic book self, though still maintained a good chunk of his persona for the film. Brolin’s personification was a big part of that, and Hot Toys will be bringing his visage to the company’s newest Marvel figure.

Set for release this fall/Holiday, Cable looks to be right there with the rest of Hot Toys’ offerings. That’s to say, he looks pretty much screen-perfect.

Cable has the looks of Brolin, including all of the scarring and cybernetic parts that Cable sported in the film. The 1/6th scale figure is of course also loaded up with tons of accessories, a light-up eye, and yes, plenty of pouches.

Here he is in detail, in Sideshow’s latest unboxing:

The enigmatic super soldier can now join your collection courtesy of Hot Toys’ new Cable 1/6 Scale Figure. A new headsculpt skillfully captures Josh Brolin’s appearance in the film with detailed scars and skin texture and also features a light-up eye. Cable’s bionic arm is rendered in meticulous detail and a newly designed body gives the figure movie-accurate proportions. His beautifully tailored outfit includes a military vest with plenty of pouches and a weathered poncho.

Sideshow Toys press release

Aside from the standard version that’ll be floating around out there, there’s also the Sideshow Exclusive edition that you see above. The difference being that energy-shield, which you won’t find packed-in with a Cable purchased anywhere but from the retailer.

As for the particulars, Cable is expected to ship some time between September and December of this year, and is priced in at $270 USD. He’s actually still up for pre-order too, and you can grab one of those here.
