SDCC 22: Disney plans out a city of special events

A trio of modern Disney films are hitting San Diego’s Gaslamp District, with activations and screenings for Doctor Strange, Bob’s Burgers, and Lightyear.

Take the day

If you go to Comic Con often, then you know that the Gaslamp District is a show unto itself. And it’s one that even fans who couldn’t secure passes to the Con can get down on.

Contributing to that selection of cool stuff this year, in a pretty big way, will be Disney. The entertainment juggernaut will have activations open for both Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and The Bob’s Burgers Movie, and a family screening of the new Pixar film Lightyear.

The former two will be out and about in the Gaslamp, though that screening will be in the Con itself. So while you won’t need passes to get Strange or visit with Bob’s, you will need one for the movie.
