Nintendo Download: Kirby and the Forgotten Land Floats Onto Nintendo Switch

A fresh Kirby title arrives on Switch this week, with Kirby and the Forgotten Lands. And right along with it come RPG Crystar and rally-racer WRC10.

Race the car, or eat it?

Did you know you can eat cars in Kirby and the Forgotten Lands? Well, you sort of can, since Kirby’s mouth can drag ’em in. Instead of the usual mechanic though, where the little puff gets the eaten-item’s ‘powers’, he just kind go possesses it, and can drive around.

If this all sounds odd for a Kirby game, it is. The Forgotten Land looks like a post-apocalyptic Earth to be honest, with Kirby coming across to do battle with his usual assortment of foes. I’m not sure if that’s the official setup, but it definitely looks as though it is.

As mentioned though, there’s more to this week in terms of big names. WRC10 is the premier rally racing title out on consoles, and lands as a port for Switch as well. Then there’s also a promising looking RPG called Crystar (which is unrelated to the classic action figure line).
