Revolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior 3 is finally almost here, and you might want to pre-order it, if you haven’t already.
At long last
Shadow Warrior 3 has been looking great for… well, it’s been looking great for quiet a while now. First set to arrive on consoles and the PC in 2021, the game saw a few delays, though is now back on track.
According to publisher Devolver Digital too, it’s coming up fast – like “March 1st” fast. Not only that, but the game is packing some serious pre-order bonuses too.

Shadow Warrior 3 finds Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi Zilla embarking on an improbable mission to recapture an ancient dragon they unwillingly unleashed from its eternal prison. Armed with a punishing mix of blades and bullets, Lo Wang must traverse uncharted parts of the world to track down the dark beast and push the apocalypse back yet again. All it will take is the mask of a dead god, a dragon’s egg, a touch of magic, and enough firepower to tear down the encroaching Shadowlands.

Looking slick as always, and I definitely appreciate the finely sculpted ‘do. Plus, who doesn’t love a good raccoon? Anyway, as mentioned, if you haven’t pre-ordered yourself a copy of SW3, you might want to. And that’s especially true if you’re new to the series, and if you’re playing on a console.
That’s because Devolver is giving away free copies of both Shadow Warrior and Shadow Warrior 2 as a ‘thanks’ for your order. This looks to only be valid for Xbox and PlayStation gamers though, so make sure you’re in before you pre-plunk down that cash.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, because pre-orders will also be on the receiving end of the exclusive Koromodako Katana. What’s that? I have no idea, but DD says it’s “a weapon so great they gave it eight legs”. Sounds terrifying!
