A new, even more dangerous Hulk evolution is coming to the pages of Marvel Comics

Things are about to get rough in the Marvel Universe. A new Hulk persona has emerged, and it’s poised to be the most dangerous one… maybe ever.

Hulk smash

No, this isn’t the latest version of the “Savage” Hulk that’s coming, it’s something else. Marvel is saying that what’s about to debut in the pages of Marvel Comics is something much more dangerous than any Jade Giant you’ve seen thus far.

If you know the Hulk, that’s really saying something. After all, we’ve just come off of a run that took the character and his supporting cast into some dark territory. And honestly, the classic Hulk, the rampaging monster, was pretty scary all by himself.

So what’s worse? Well, here’s Marvel’s official line on it:

The first arc of Donny Cates and Ryan Ottley’s mind-blowing Hulk saga will reach its epic climax as Bruce Banner’s control over Starship Hulk slips…and something much worse takes the wheel. The new threat that emerges promises to smash the HULK mythos to its core and will fuel Bruce Banner’s rage for the foreseeable future.

“This new threat is basically the Hulk’s Knull, but just like Donny and Ryan’s run on HULK overall, it’s crazier and more dangerous than you can imagine,” Editor Wil Moss said. “The heroes of the Marvel Universe may think Hulk is the problem, but he’s not — THIS is the problem. And after HULK #6, there’s no stopping it…”
