Marvel Comics big Star Wars crossover event, War of the Bounty Hunters is about to get a special cover spread with the ships of the galaxy’s villainy.
On the hunt
Currently raging in the pages of Marvel’s Star Wars line, War of the Bounty Hunters is an in-between story. The crossover takes place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, telling the story of a galaxy on the hunt for Boba Fett and Han Solo’s frozen body.
It’s pretty expansive too, with one-shots, crossover issues invading the publisher’s main Star Wars books, and a series all its own. If you’re a fan of the galaxy far, far away, it’s quite a bit to sink your teeth into.
And in September, it gets a little cooler, thanks to a special series of variant covers from artist Paolo VIllanelli. The illustrations will depict the power-players in the story along with semi-blueprint imagery of their individual starships.
It’s pretty striking imagery, and looks like it should stand out on the racks.
