The gates are opening once again. A teaser trailer that we saw at The Game Awards last night revealed that Oblivion is coming to Elder Scrolls Online.
Sweet Oblivion
The above is an all-too brief tease at what might be one of the most highly anticipated returns in The Elder Scrolls’ history. Oblivion was one of the best-loved games in the main RPG series after all, so to see it returning for TESO is good news indeed.
While there wasn’t much to look at or learn from this brief glimpse, Bethesda does have just a tad more to add on the subject. According to the publisher, TESO’s new adventure will be a year-long arc for 2021. So that might mean that there’s a heck of a lot of Oblivion coming up for players of the MMO.
You won’t have to wait too long to learn presumably a lot more either. On the 21st of January, ZeniMax Online Studio’s Director Matt Firor and Bethesda’s Senior VP of Marketing and Communications Pete Hines will be hosting a special presentation. There all things TESO and Oblivion will be discussed.
The show will air on Twitch, at Twitch.tv/Bethesda, on Thursday, January 21st. Tune in at 5pm eastern time to see what fresh hell is in store for the world of Tamriel.
