Nintendo Download: Heaven and Hell Collide While Puzzle Legends Twist and Slide

It’s Doom Eternal week for Nintendo Switch gamers, as we get a Download that also brings a few puzzling experiences along for the ride.

Eternal arrives

Never mind the games that Nintendo has picked to top this week’s Download. Honestly, neither one is as big of a release as Bethesda’s surprise port of Doom Eternal.

Finally arriving on the Nintendo Switch is the gory shooter, one of the biggest FPS releases of 2020. It was a port that seemed like it wasn’t going to happen for a while, since the publisher had completely clammed up about the. And yet here we are, and here Doom Eternal is.

So the big question of course, is how it plays. While we haven’t had the chance to go hands-on with it, it is at least looking good, from the trailer. So if you’re somehow a Doom fan who’s without another way to play this one, then you might want to give it a try.

And as I mentioned, there are some other notable arrivals this week too, including puzzle games Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 and Pixel Junk Eden 2. But let’s face it, those don’t quite have the same punch as the Slayer.
