New Evercade carts for Jaleco and Piko ready for pre-order

A fresh set of retro classics are on the way to the Evercade handheld console, with a pair of carts dedicated to publishers Jaleco and Piko.

The retro-train keeps rolling

One of the nicest surprises of 2020, the Evercade continues to look like a solid choice for those who like their gaming skewed to the retro side. With a number of collections out already, the company has expanded the handheld’s library once again with a new duo.

A pair of new cartridges have been announced and are already set for pre-ordering, with the Jaleco Collection 1 and Piko Interactive Collection 2. Both of those include games you’re going to know if your gaming-life comes from the 8 or 16bit eras.

Jaleco Collection 1 includes:

  1. Bases Loaded
  2. Astynax
  3. Brawl Brothers
  4. City Connection
  5. Earth Defence Force
  6. Super Goal! 2
  7. Totally Rad
  8. Rival Turf
  9. Operation Logic Bomb
  10. Ignition Factor

Piko Interactive Collection 2 includes:

  1. Power Football
  2. Hoops Shut Up and Jam
  3. Hoops Shut Up and Jam 2
  4. Summer Challenge
  5. Winter Challenge
  6. Beast Ball
  7. Eliminator Boat Duel
  8. Full Throttle All American Racing
  9. Top Racer 2
  10. Soccer Kid
  11. Football Madness
  12. World Trophy Soccer
  13. Racing Fever

Both of the new carts are expected to launch some time in April of 2021, and both are described as limited in terms of stock by Evercade. So if you want either, it’s probably best to lay down a pre-order or two.
