Wave 2 of DST’s Castlevania figures coming this summer

The Castlevania animated series on Netflix continues to be a pleasant surprise, and spawn some very cool action figures.

The vampire lord returns

Dracula is set to debut in the latest series of Castlevania action figures from Diamond Select Toys. Though it won’t happen for a little while, since wave 2 won’t be hitting retail till summer of 2020.

It’s a cool looking set of figures though, building on an initial wave that included the heroes of both the first season of the series and the classic Castlevania III video game. Alucard, Sypha Belnades, and Richter Belmont himself are all in in that wave, which actually hasn’t even been released yet. It won’t hit retail till this January.

Additionally, next year will also see the debut of the ‘Dracula’ wave, which includes a trio of villains. That counters wave 1 nicely, as we get Vlad, and also two of his generals – Carmilla and Godbrand.

A Diamond Select Toys release! We’ve seen the heroes, now meet the villains of Castlevania! From the hit Netflix animated series come three all-new action figures of Dracula and two of his generals, Carmilla and Godbrand! Each figure features up to 16 points of articulation as well as interchangeable parts and accessories. Each comes packaged in a full-color blister card. Designed by Eamon O’Donoghue, sculpted by Richard Force. (Asst. #DEC192334, SRP: $19.99/ea.)

While the series isn’t available still summer, pre-orders are open right now. Click here to check them out on Entertainment Earth. If you order them, BG will make a small commission.

About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
