The Walking Dead ep 4 incoming with boxed copy

The Final Season of what was Telltale’s The Walking Dead finally rolls on with episode 4. It hits next month, along with a physical boxed copy.

Telling tales

It’s been a while. But finally, finally, the defunct Telltale Games’ arguably beat game series is coming to a close. The Walking Dead: The Final Season will have it’s 4th episode land on March 26th, courtesy of Skybound Games.

It’s hard to believe Clem’s journey is coming to an end. Just like you, we’re struggling to grasp the fact that the journey is almost over. But we’re so ready and thankful to have all of you alongside us as the story comes to a dramatic close. As you play through “Broken Toys,” the recently released third episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season, we’re preparing for the concluding episode of the series with some news to share…

We’re excited to announce that when Episode 4, “Take Us Back,” launches on March 26, we’ll be releasing a physical boxed edition that includes the entirety of The Walking Dead: The Final Season for Xbox One, PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™. This version will be available at all major retailers, including in the Skybound Shop. For fans looking for a great gift to give, or to actually hold the final chapters of Clem’s story in your hands, you’ll soon have that chance!

Skybound press release

One last time

That boxed edition is especially nice if you’ve been missing the episodic releases. You’d be forgiven for that, even if you’re a fan of course, since this season has seen its fair share of drama. What with Telltale closing up shop and all.

Nonetheless it’s finally here, and you will be able to grab one of those aforementioned retail boxes if you’re going to PAX. Skybound Games’ PAX East booth (March 28-31) will have copies on hand for you to buy and take home with you.

After this one too, that’s it for The Walking Dead series. Clem’s saga comes to a close with what’s sure to be a pretty heavy installment.
