Deep Silver has released both a release date and the title sequence to the next installment of the Metro series – Exodus.
Exodus
One of the more hotly anticipated games of early 2019 is Metro Exodus. The third chapter in what’s become a pretty well received FPS series, Exodus changes things up significantly.
No longer bound by the restrictive, grime covered subway tunnels beneath a post-apocalyptic Moscow, Metro is taking things topside. Exodus introduces a surface world that doesn’t seem to be instant death for anyone who would traverse it. And it also introduces a train.
One of the major plot points of the upcoming adventure, the train looks like it’ll be taking players from location to location, as they fight their way to… something.
Deep Silver has revealed the title sequence to the game this week, and it’s a snowy stunner.
On top of that early look at the very first part of the game, the publisher has also taken the wraps off of the final release date. While we knew Metro Exodus was set to hit retail in early 2019, we now know it’s landing on February 15th.
So you can wrap up with your Valentine’s candy and, uh, get apocalyptic.
