The date for Fallout 76’s beta has finally been revealed. It hits for the Xbox One in a little under a month, and a little over for everything else.
Testing…
Before we talk beta, have a peek at the intro cinematic for theme, which Bethesda just released online.
Looking good, huh? No, there’s no gameplay in there, but we all know what that’s going to look like by now. Instead what we got was a look at the game’s first cinematic, and also another peek at the narrative. Not bad.
As for that beta though, it’s coming up pretty soon. Officially dubbed B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application), the beta for Fallout 76 will allow gamers to get a taste of the open world, and free-form storytelling that the final release will offer.
In addition to just playing, you’ll also be able to submit feedback to Bethesda. That’s kind of the point of the beta after all, and so the company will be looking for players to point out issues and problems as they play.
Bethesda has a whole page set up just for the beta, where you can find answers to a mess of questions that you might have. That’s right here. And what might those magical ‘launch dates’ be?
The Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. opens up for approved gamers on October the 23rd for the Xbox One. PS4 and PC gamers will have just a little more of a wait, and can get down in the post-apocalypse on the 30.
