Battle Chasers: Nightwar hits the Switch today

Landing on the Nintendo Switch at long last, Battle Chasers: Nightwar marries a western comic book series with classic JRPG gameplay. And the result looks pretty darn good.

The war comes to Switch

I was one of the people who skipped out on Nightwar when it hit other platforms. I skipped it even though it looked as sharp as it does. Classically designed “Japanese RPGs” though, can be a tough number for me, and I’d wager more than a few others. Mainly, that’s because they tend to be a little on the long side.

That might be why I’m so into this release on the Switch, since the nature of the console means I can take the one with me. So there’s a slightly better chance there for me to actually beat it. Slightly.

Even if that’s not a concern of yours though, you still might be interested in Nightwar on the Switch. As you can plainly see in the trailer, the game looks pretty darn good. And the console isn’t exactly bathed in JRPGs either, so if you dig the genre then you’ll want to take a peek here.

Running just $39.99 USD too, it’s price is pretty nice. The game arrives on the Switch today, and is already available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
