Marvel Legacy roundup: A sneak peek at some of Marvel’s newest series’

Marvel Comics has been cranking out the previews for its post and midst-Legacy series’, all debuting this autumn.

New and old

Legacy is going to be big. Like, really big. The event will somehow tie together heroes both new and old, ushering back in many of the classic and iconic Marvel characters that’ve fallen away in recent years. It’s a response to fans that’s been building for a while, and is most welcome in my opinion.

What we’re also going to be seeing, is a return to the more traditional numbering systems of the past. So while the last decade or so has seen Marvel restart books like Thor into multiple volumes, this new scheme will return to those high, multi-hundred counts of the past. Another big piece of fan-service there.

It’s going to be a mix though, as there are some totally new stuff as well in terms of series’ and arcs that’ll also be bringing back classic characters. There’s a lot to like, but it’s not all that easy to keep track of.

Well, we’re here to help. Below you’ll find a swath of Marvel Legacy books, that fit all of the above. There are even checklists for the grander numbered titles. But before you start there, go here and check out the first post we published about Legacy titles, which had a few things you should know. Death of Thor being one of those.
