Funko x Playmobil results in all the coolness that you’d expect

Funko and Playmobil’s awesome mashup series of action figures is almost here, and they’re prepped for pre-order right now.

Just like the real thing, only bigger… and way cooler

We first saw these figures at Toy Fair in New York about a year ago, and they still look fantastic. When we visited NYTF though, we did see a few more than are talked about here. Namely, I’m talking about the Sherlock figures, which starred both Benedict Cumberbatch’s Holmes and John Watson. If I had to guess, we’re not seeing them here for a very specific reason. And that’d be that they’re in a second series that have yet to be unveiled. And that makes sense, because wave one is pretty stacked with awesome.

Personally, I’m in for Doc and Marty, the ‘Busters, and a few of the TMNT figures (that Shredder is freaking great). They’re just too cool to pass up on, especially if you’re a fan of the properties and played with Playmobil toys when you were a kid. Nostalgia is a powerful thing after all, and it’s in full effect right here with these figures. Does Funko know what it’s doing or what? I mean, seriously, they can pretty much do no wrong.

And if that pretty much sums up your feeling as well, then you’ll want to hit this link right here and pre-order. Each figure will run you $14.99 USD, and they’re all scheduled to hit in March. So keep that in mind if you’re of the mind to pre-order all of ’em.
