TMNT character trailers kick some shell

Four new trailers were released by Activision today, each one showcasing one of the mean green teens that make up the nickelodeon-inspired TMNT from Mutants in Manhattan.

Four times the Turtles means four times the playable characters, but you already knew that if you’ve been playing video games based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for any length of time. For Mutants in Manhattan, each Turtle should play a bit different than the rest though, and not just in the classic sense that they’ll have different reach; you can get a look at the individual fighting styles and special moves for each one in the quartet of trailers shown below. Then when you’re done watching those, make sure you read through the info-graphics in the gallery at the bottom of the page to study up on your fab four.

With cel-shaded graphics and all the characters that you might expect to see from the nicktoons Turtles show, all present and accounted for (Bebop and Rocksteady, natch’), Mutants in Manhattan is looking like it might be the first TMNT game in ages that’s actually worthy of the classic property. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the action masters at PlatinumGames are behind it either.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan lands on the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on May 24th.
