Meet the bosses of PlatinumGames’ new Ninja Turtles game

Staple TMNT foes Bebop and Rocksteady are joined by the usual assortment of creeps and mutants, including a cyber-looking Shredder and a certain alien brain… thing.

While Krang was just a tease in that little glimpse at the heavy baddies of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, we got a pretty great look at the rest of the main villains that you and the Turtles will be facing in the game. If you missed anyone in there,  Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, “General” Krang, Karai, Slash, and Wingnut are all confirmed for the game. I actually didn’t think Wingnut (a bat-mutant) was a bad guy, but he apparently is here, so there you go.

From action-masters PlatinumGames and Activision, TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan blends the nickelodeon Turtles brand that’s currently running on TV with an original story written by the current comics’ writer, Tom Waltz. While you probably already expect the game ti be filled with fast-action, it will also offer four-player co-op with plenty of “team-based brawling” and a “unique way to play” depending on which Turtle you play as. Each Green Teen will offer “distinct combat abilities and progression paths”, which should make for a fair bit of replayability.

Look for the game to arrive at retail and on digital download storefronts for both current and last-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as the Windows PC on May 24th.
