More rocking inbound as GHTV gets 34 new tracks

Guitar Hero Live has reinvigorated the rhythm genre, and Activision and FreeStyle Games are keeping the tunes flowing with almost three dozen new songs.

If you have Guitar Hero Live, then chances are that you’re basically pretty happy just jamming away on the GHTV section of the game. If you don’t know what that is, it’s basically a live streaming set of channels that pumps mostly free-to-play music videos directly to you, as well as some premium content.

There’s already a bunch of playable stuff on there, which was supplemented not all that long ago with even more. But while that last infusion wasn’t all that mighty, this one adds a ton and brings the playable song total up to 300. New songs have posted to the channels that cover something from pretty much everybody’s tastes, and a new selection of Premium Show Tracks as well.

So maybe, in your food-induced semi-coma, you should opt to stay in and rock out, instead of facing the monster crowds of Black Friday deal-shoppers and potentially risk life and limb. Just a thought. Here’s what’s new:
