Go back to school in style with this Han Solo backpack

Looking for a back to school pack, or something to wear to Comic Con’s yet too be? Then you might be interested in this Han Solo ‘Carbonite’ backpack.

Direct from the fine folks at Comic Images, the Carbonite Han Solo Back Buddy is the newest pack that Star Wars fans will more than likely just have to have. Available for pre-order in the September issue of Previews (which should be in stores now), the backpack features the frozen visage of Captain Solo as he was when frozen in the industrial substance known as Carbonite in the second Star Wars film – The Empire Strikes Back.

A zip-up enclosure will keep all your stuff safe here, with plenty of room for your “keys, wallet, books, and other valuables.”  And of course, the straps are adjustable as well, so you can get a custom fit even if you’re Wookie-sized (though that might be stretching it).

The pack will cost you $44.95 USD and is set to ship out in October.
