First trailer debuts for Batgirl: A Matter of Family

Coming soon, the expansion pack places you in the boots of Barbara Gordon, before she became Oracle.

When The Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to The Joker’s sinister plan. Trained by Batman, Batgirl’s combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, control objects and solve puzzles.

Looking pretty awesome. Plenty of new content there in terms of location, a carnival in Gotham, as well as characters with Batgirl (who’s never been seen in the series before) and Tim Drake’s Robin. It’s pretty awesome to see Joker in action again too, as well as the original Harley outfit on his main gal. As a big fan of the Animated Series where Harley Quinn made her original appearance, that’s particularly awesome.

Developed by WB Games Montréal, but built on top of the Arkham Knight engine created by Rocksteady, Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be available to add-onto your copy of Arkham Knight for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on July 14th if you have the Season Pass for the game, and on the 21st for the price of $6.99 USD if you don’t.
