Sony Accidentally Deletes List of Contest Winners

Sony continues to be plagued by technical issues. This past December, Sony offered a chance to win one of the limited edition PS4s to those in Japan who purchased a PS3, PS4, PS Vita, or Vita TV until January. The purchasers would receive a calendar with a special code that granted entry into the contest. 123 winners were chosen to receive the highly sought after limited edition PlayStation 4.

Unfortunately, Sony also just lost all this data, including the winners, and states it cannot recover it. The company offered it’s sincerest apologies on their Japanese website and will allow the qualified buyers to re-enter by re-sending all their information via their website. Hopefully, Sony can hold on to these entries.
