Spawn finally goes digital, haunts comiXology

Todd McFarlane’s long-running Spawn comic series is now available, in its entirety, on the comiXology download service.

Well, it’s about time. I’ll be honest, I usually collect and read my weekly books in the old fashioned way (you know, going down to the LCS?), and I actually had just assumed that Spawn was already available on comiXology. After all, the service is the largest in the world and stocks just about any and every comic that you could think of. Not so when it came to Spawn though.

Although, that’s all changed now as Spawn is now making his presence felt on comiXology in a very big way. All 250 issues of the monthly book are now up for sale, along with volumes 1 through 20 (!) of the Spawn Origins series. Now that’s a lot of hellspawn.

For those who’ve never read the book and want to dive in, the company has a very nice little solution. A trio of bundle deals are now available as well, so you can get the full run of Spawn delivered to your device of choice in the easiest (not to mention cheapest) way possible.

Included in the sets are:

Making the deals sweeter, every purchase of a bundle (even the #’s 1 – 125 version) will net you exclusive behind-the-scenes content from issue #250, which just hits stands this week. While Spawn himself is set to be a permanent fixture on comiXology though, you might want to act fast if you want in on the bundles. They’ll be on offer from now till the 9th of this month only.
